In order for us to grow and develop your feedback is vital.

Throughout each year, we pause to listen to our students, families and staff to gauge how our learning community is travelling. This feedback is invaluable to our progress as an effective school community and is backed by evidence-based research and best practices. One of the more important formal ways we engage and gather data is through the MACS School Improvement surveys .

MACS School Improvement surveys is a set of surveys that have been built specifically by Learning Services teams at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) in partnership with researchers at Learning First .

Each year, students, families and staff are invited to participate in MACS School Improvement surveys using our secure and purpose-built online platform. Our community’s opinions are critical to understanding how our school is performing and MACS School Improvement surveys is a key data source for guiding the ongoing work to improve our school. All participation is invited, welcomed and 100% voluntary. We use this information to adjust and improve current and future actions and behaviours, continually looking to improve our school community.

St John’s Regional College also encourages our wider community to provide ‘words of support and encouragement’ where our students and staff in following our school motto “Virtus In Astra Tendit –  the Courage to Reach for the Stars ” have achieved excellence .

If you wish to provide our school with some words of support or constructive feedback we welcome your email to: stjohns@sjrc.vic.edu.au

We thank those in our community whose kind words of support and encouragement are detailed below.

Words of support from the Community

Thank you to the students who came to Wellsprings 3 weeks in a row and replenished our vegetable garden pots.  They did a remarkable job indeed including painting some of the garden furniture

Words of support from Parents

What a fantastic staff ensuring our children receive the best care and education, even more so during this current COVID environment. Thank you SJRC! – Cathy Perry

I’m so pleased we chose this school for our children. The teachers and leadership team, including the principal, are very supportive and available whenever there is any type of question.
The students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and have had many wonderful experiences including camps, musicals, on campus fun days, sporting opportunities along with being supported in their academic endeavours, regardless of the type of path they wish to take.
It’s super exciting to see their extensive improvement plans unfolding too! – Catherine Maxwell

Words of support from Teachers

Great place to work with a strong focus on educating all aspects of a child’s development – David Graham, Communication Coach
